Art: Overlapping Forms

In Art, PYP 2 students are studying how shape and space interact. To explore this concept students are creating a variety of art projects that play with borders and boundaries. Students created visual displays that not only have forms that are separate, but also have forms that overlap to create a new image. We explored this concept in drawing, painting and collage. We practised our art skills and our collaborative skills when designing and creating murals with the whole class. We hope you enjoy seeing our collaborative and individual projects as much as we enjoyed creating them!

PYP 2 Sigma

In PYP 2 students are learning to work collaboratively. This week in PYP 2 Sigma pupils had the opportunity to work with a partner to create beautiful art projects. Each pair traced each other hands and then they decorated them using water colour.
