Working Hard in PYP 2!
PYP 2 has begun the year working on some initial sounds. They have
been learning letter sounds in many different ways! They sort out miniature
objects and pictures by beginning sound, they use sandpaper letters and
practise letter formation!
In Maths they have been using manipulatives so they can say and use number names. They match quantities to the numeral using egg cartons, count everyday objects and use sand tray to draw and count circles. They have also learned number rhymes such as “One, two buckle my shoe”, "One elephant went out" and "Mary’s Garden"!
Check out how it was!
